unesco-king hamad bin isa al-khalifa prize for the use of ict in education

the General Directorate of UNESCO launches the call for applications for the 2026 edition of the UNESCO-King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa Prize for the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in education, which focuses on the theme "Reinventing creativity and critical thinking with artificial intelligence" and under which two (02) laureates will be selected and rewarded in the amount of 25,000 US dollars each.

 

The said Prize was created in 2005 with the support of the Kingdom of Bahrain, its objective is to reward the projects and activities of people, institutions, other entities or non-governmental organizations whose models of excellence, best practices and ingenious use of information and communication technologies aimed at promoting learning, teaching and educational performance in general.

 

In this regard, our country, as a member of UNESCO, is invited to submit up to three (03) applications, no later than May 08, 2026, online and through the National Commission
