international cooperation

The USTHB promotes the opening of research laboratories towards national and international scientific cooperation in order to strengthen the international dimension of research; And supports as such all the scientific programs of cooperation associating the laboratories of the USTHB and Algerian and foreign laboratories.

The USTHB has always been part of a dynamic of intense international scientific cooperation. It should be noted that since its creation, the university has concluded inter-university cooperation agreements in particular with French universities (Grenoble, Montpellier, Rennes).

The USTHB now has inter-university agreements (France, Spain, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Ukraine, United Kingdom) African (Cameroon, South Africa, Tunisia, Libya) North America (USA) and Asian (Korea south, Japan).

The USTHB is a member of various international university cooperation networks. These include the Association of African Universities, the Association of Arab Universities, the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), UICEE (UNESCO International Center For Engineering Education), a UNESCO center in charge of the development of engineering and technology education.

Since the signing of the scientific and technical cultural cooperation agreement in 1986 between France and Algeria and the creation of the joint evaluation and forecasting committee (CMEP) - TASSILI**

The USTHB has been able to develop cooperation agreements in the field of research with laboratories of French universities and the (CNRS)*** as well as INSERM. It should be noted that around thirty cooperation research projects within the framework of the CMEP are operational every year since the signing of the agreement. The organization of scientific events (Congress, Colloquia, Seminars) is also a major point of the activities of the USTHB to develop its external relations. Half a dozen international or regional scientific events are organized annually. Another focal point of the USTHB's external relations is the travel of its teacher-researchers to scientific events taking place abroad to present their research work. As a benchmark, {{783}} Communications were presented in 2008 with {{510}} Communications in Europe {{190}} in Africa {{50}} in Asia and {{33}} in America. This work is then generally published in international specialized journals.
